Established in 1990, AquaScan AS specialises in the development, production and marketing of fish counters. Over the past three decades, the company has continually refined its technology to be able to perform fast and reliable counting of various species fish.
Fast and accurate counting
The AquaScan Fish counter is specifically designed for high capacity counting of fish being transported through pipes. The fish pass unrestricted through an advanced sensor which registers their size and counts them. The system is not dependent on the fish passing one by one and they are ideal for use with grading machines or fish pumps. Up to four counters can transmit their data to the control unit simultaneously.
Sturdy & user friendly
Farmers can easily install the rugged, non-corrosive AquaScan Fish counter themselves, as it requires only a minimal change to existing pipe/grader arrangements. The watertight electronics are reliable and very durable. To facilitate maintenance, the system’s modular design allows separate servicing or replacement of sub-units, if necessary.
