LARIUS is proud to announce join with SAMOA INDUSTRIAL, S.A., with headquarters in Gijón- Spain and head of the Samoa Group, that has acquired the Italian company.
LARIUS will continue, within the Samoa Group, with the excellent 50 years’ tradition of producing only the highest quality and giving excellent customer value and service.
The SAMOA Group, an integrated manufacturing group of companies, is one of the world leaders in lubrication and fluid handling equipment serving a broad number of end markets such as Vehicle Services, Public Works, Agriculture, Mining, Oil & Gas, Energy, Steel, Industrial & Machinery, Automotive, Wood, Chemical and Others.
SAMOA line of products actually comprises air operated piston and diaphragm pumps, electrical and hand-held equipment, hose reels, fluid metering and its control equipment, waste fluid collection products and accessories.
The Group presently employs 575 people worldwide and has commercial presence in over 115 countries through its own subsidiaries and authorised distributors.
The Group has recently expanded in Gijón with a new plant dedicated to Industrial Pumping and Fluid Electronic Monitoring & Control Equipment to increase its manufacturing capabilities. Through the acquisition of LARIUS, SAMOA is complementing its present line with a wider and well-proven range of products to enter in new markets where the Group did not have access until today.
The Samoa Group anticipates and expects that no significant changes will occur in the marketplace with neither LARIUS brand identity, sales representation, pricing, or distribution.
The founder, Mr Domenico Castagna and brother, Mr Pierangelo Castagna, will continue in LARIUS during the next years in order to ensure continuity in the transition into the Group and declare:
