Our story is a typical Kiwi tale of someone who took their passion, expertise and drive to create a world-class business. Fed up with unreliable imported anchor products, seasoned offshore sailor Kerry Mair decided to build his own anchor and built the very first Manson Plough anchor for his own boat, a Cavalier 39. The success of this venture gave him the drive to set up Manson Anchors and his core focus became establishing a business that built better anchors than imported models.
