NORTHMAN
Over several years of running our small family-owned business, we have managed to create a professional shipyard, whose boats have been appreciated not only in Europe but also in the remotest corners of the world (America, Japan, Africa, Asia). Experience in the field, constant improvement of technology, using modern tools, and at the same time striving for perfection and focusing on meeting customers’ expectations have made the number of satisfied customers surpass our wildest expectations.
On 2019 the Research and Development Centre of our shipyard was officially opened. The establishment of the centre is linked to a significant expansion of our company. Thanks to the project the Northman shipyard obtained and additional storey designated for the laboratory part, specialist workshops and rooms for qualified science staff. Also, an additional hall was built, where a modern, five-axis CNC milling centre was built. The development of the shipyard and the project will lead to an increase in employment. The total worth of the project amount to almost 5 million zlotys, 55% of which was funded by the European Regional Development Fund. Our Centre was established to increase innovations and competitiveness of our company through the use of new technologies, conducting advanced industry research and developmental works. This will result in designing new yacht models and introducing innovatory solutions in the units we have in offer now.
The production capacity has grown from the initial number of several units per year to more than 100 today, and the stuff from a few people to 100 at present. During this period of time we have selected a good and professional team, whose experience reflected in the highest quality of our products, is the foundation of our company.
We also produce non-standard yachts, according to customers’ specifications. The use of high quality materials, professional machinery, separate production areas (beginning with the booth to spray gel coats and ending with a quality control with a pool and sprinklers) and supervision at every stage of creating a boat, allow us to meet the most demanding projects.
Our own models of sailing yachts Maxus and motor Northman, Nexus, Courier created by leading designers, are popular among the most demanding sailors. Not only do they gain a number of awards, but also meet high standards and quality European requirements, which is proved by the fact that all our vessels bear CE marking.
