Ocean was founded as a family business immediately after the second world war to operate in the maritime field.
Ocean enter also in a joint company with the LUKA KOPER (Port of Koper) for the tug service in Slovenia.
Ocean was partner in the Company OSA OCEAN with OSA (Bremen) for more than 10 years until the total sale of the OSA Company getting a good experience with the supply/anchor handling all over the world.
In 2004 Ocean through its sister company Tripnavi (jv with Gesmar) has purchased the company “LABROMARE” in Leghorn specialised in the coastal harbour antipollution and ecological activities that employs 93 persons.
In 2005 Ocean established “CASPIAN OCEAN LLP”, a new company operating with two units and one Accomodation Barge in Caspian Sea.
Ocean towage division operates various tugs including a significant number of the most powerful and technically advanced of both Voith Tractor and Stern drive azimuthing designs.
The fleet has benefited from a continuous programme of investment in new tugs ensuring that the Group remains at the forefront of tug’s technology.
Ocean has more then 40 years experience in salvage operations and provides an experienced and professional salvage service and the level of the expertise and knowledge of the tugmasters and crews are very high.
Many of the tugs are equipped for fire fighting 1 and for anti-pollution duties. Salvage operations are complemented when necessary by technical personnel such as naval architects, salvage engineers, fitters and divers.
