Professional Mariner magazine has been a valuable resource for the owners and operators of commercial maritime vessels of all types in the U.S. and Canada since 1993.

Our publication is for professionals who work in the maritime industries both onboard vessels and onshore. The editorial emphasis is on training and licensing, maritime casualties, technology, engineering and regulatory trends and issues. Professional Mariner publishes 9 regular issues, e-mail newsletters, a website and a digital replica of the print magazine which reaches readers around the world. In addition, thee special issues, American Training Directory, American Tugboat Review and American Ship Review, are published annually.

The magazine is owned by Maritime Publishing which also owns and publishes Ocean Navigator magazine. Offices are in Portland, Maine, with key colleagues located across the U.S.
