Reggiani Nautica's production includes a wide range of units and accessories fitting the main power transmissions on the market. An excellent adaptability to all systems as well as problem-solving in specific applications: this is the main characteristic of Reggiani Nautica's production.

All components are studied, designed and developed in accordance to international standards. Quality tests on all raw materials and steady checks on working process assure a high technical standard, a great reliability and a long-working product, reducing to minimum maintenances and repairs.

Raw materials of first choice: this is a priority for Reggiani Nautica. Propeller shafts made of stainless steel AISI 316 and AISI 630 (Aisi 304 on demand), always grinded and carefully worked with rectified supporting surfaces.

The stern tube has been made with high mechanical strength-proof and corrosion-proof brass components, whose coupling through appropriate threads allows an easy replacement when needed.

The bearings made of brass have rubber housing, water-lubricated through slight channels to allow a perfect natural hydro-lubrication throughout the stern tube. Resin bearings are available full-body or with anti-galvanic housing, as well as aluminum bearings.

The range of components and fittings allows several approaches to assemblies, and different kinds of seals are available:

• the adjustable stuffing box with classic greasy rings
• the double lip seal TDL, easy-fitting and totally safe in preventing water dropping
• the mechanical seal TMF, highly qualified to grant the shaft’s alignment both axial and angular.

Reggiani Nautica’s flexible joints (FC01140, FC02200) are designed and developed in order to meet the naval and marine requirements. They provide the following advantages:

• reducing all vibrations from torque and working
• high factory of safety
• assuring a very good coupling and preventing errors of alignment between shaft and engine
• additional features granting the various couplings

Screws are usually supplied in stainless steel Aisi 304, while keys are made of Aisi 316.

V-drive groups and propellers shaft’s joints for drive units are produced on demand.
