VA-Varuste is Northern Europe’s leading maker of custom-made boat textiles. Our main products are boat canopies and boat cushions, seats and winter covers. Our boat textiles represent peak expertise in the field both in relation to quality and practical use. We are bringing individual comfort to boating by making products that increase a boat’s practical value and features.
We have successfully served boat manufacturers and our private customers for over 40 years. Our customers are all significant boat-makers in Finland as well as other Nordic countries. Our products are also delivered to Central and Southern Europe. As Northern Europe’s largest manufacturer of original boat canopies, our private customers get exactly the right high-quality canopy, made according to the original patterns and models to suit their own boat model.
We function in Kuopio in modern premises completed in 2006 that cover over 2700 m2. We employ over 50 professionals in the textiles field. Many years of experience and up-to-date industrial techniques are merged in our production. We can design boat canopies and cushions with high-tech 3D programming, using Rhino 3D modelling software. We digitalize the patterns and have the ability to cut them automatically in our cutting room. We also handle repair work on boat canopies.
We make the products from start to finish in our own facilities – for example, our own metal department takes care of the canopy arches. Our highly efficient production ensures high-quality products and competitive prices.
