Maritime Partner
Maritime Partner AS was started in 1994 in Alesund, Norway, but can trace its history to 1980. From the beginning the main products has been high speed craft, with focus on offshore rescue craft. In the following years the company expanded the business rapidly and in 1999 UFAS Holding was acquired. It is now a 100% owned subsidiary of Maritime Partner.
In total Maritime Partner (incl. Ufas) has delivered more than 2200 craft world-wide since the first craft was delivered in 1982. Yearly Maritime Partner deliver 50-80 craft of various sizes and the number is expected to grow in the years to come. The rescue craft are used by all major offshore operators and oil service companies as well as major cruise and ferry owners world-wide. Numerous craft are in use by Search and Rescue organisations in many countries (SAR). Maritime Partner is the largest supplier to the Norwegian Rescue Organisation (NSSR), and the Spanish SAR service is built up of Maritime Partner designed craft. The Norwegian, Swedish Navy and coastguard all use boats from Maritime Partner. Common for all of Maritime Partner’s customers are that they all have special requirements due to extreme operational requirement.
