Tecsup
Tecsup is a private non-profit educational organization dedicated to educating and training professionals, as well as providing consulting, research and technology application services. The founder, Luis Hochschild Plaut, made an effort to make Tecsup a valuable work for the benefit of young people and professionals from companies and institutions in the country.
Since 1984, Tecsup has offered young people the opportunity to pursue professional careers related to the application of technology in the operation and maintenance of industrial activities. Likewise, it offers professionals in the industry the opportunity to update or specialize in different technological development processes through short programs.
The educational system developed by Tecsup has been based on foreign experiences, and its implementation and development has been funded thanks to the contributions of more than 200 private Peruvian companies and the cooperation of international institutions.
Tecsup currently has three offices: one in Lima, in operation since 1984, one in Arequipa since 1993 and the Trujillo office opened in 2008, equipped with modern workshops and laboratories. The courses are offered both in their premises and in the facilities of companies located anywhere in the country and with a modern application of information technology also through the Internet.
Important features of the organization are its orientation towards excellence in services, the strong articulation with the needs of companies and the search to generate opportunities for any young person with a vocation and aptitude, even if their economic resources do not allow them to pay the cost of studies.
